Bottled Water Trial in Fife and Surrounding Area

As part of a new trial*, Scottish Water is helping existing Priority Services Register (PSR) customers in Fife and the surrounding area get ready for cold weather and the challenges it can bring, by providing bottled water in the unlikely event of an interruption to the water supply.

Helping customers prepare for colder weather

Your water and waste water services are essential to daily life, and it’s often not until these services are interrupted that you appreciate just how important they are. For this reason, customers are being offered a case of 6 x 2 litre bottles of water to store in the event an emergency. Customers then just need to store it in a cool, dark place, out of direct sunlight and avoid storing near household chemicals or products with strong odours. The bottled water will have a use by date, so if you don’t need to use it after the date, please dispose of the water - It’ll still be OK to use for your plants or garden.
