Lover's Walk Dumfries

Work is due to start on the 21st February on the A701, Edinburgh Road where we are installing a new sewer connection.

A short section of the road at the junction with Lovers Walk will be closed from Monday 21st February for approximately 2 weeks. A signed diversion is in place via Moffat Road and the A781. We would urge road users to plan head and leave extra time for their journey

The work has been planned in collaboration with Dumfries and Galloway Council to provide a new sewer connection from Lovers Walk to the public sewer network on Edinburgh Road. It will be carried out by our contractor Clancy.
