Road Closure in Mosspark Drive Glasgow

What we are doing
We are advising road users in south west Glasgow of a road closure during work on improvements to our service to customers.
A section of Mosspark Drive in the Mosspark area will be closed at its junction with Corkerhill Road from Monday 7th March for five weeks to enable pipe installation work to continue.
A diversion route will be in place via Corkerhill Road, Mosspark Boulevard and Paisley Road West.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding.
We have liaised with Glasgow City Council’s roads department while planning our work and road traffic management.
The pipe installation work is part of the Glasgow Resilience Project, which involves the installation of seven miles of new pipes to connect the Glasgow area’s water network and the system in Ayrshire.
This will increase resilience and protect supplies for about one million customers.
The new water main is being installed in the Ibrox, Mosspark, Pollok, Priesthill, Nitshill and Parkhouse areas of Glasgow.
The project is being delivered for Scottish Water by Caledonia Water Alliance, our alliance partner, and is expected to be completed in 2023.
