Project Overview
We are investing £1.8 million in Alves to address historical flooding events in the area. The work involves laying approx. 3.3km of sewer on the Burghead Road from Alves to the junction at the B9089, where the Maltings are located.The project is being delivered by amey-binnies and is due to start late September 2021. It is expected to take around 12 months for completion.

Why We Are Doing This
We are carrying out essential upgrades to address sewer flooding due to burst pipes.
What We are Doing
We are laying approximately 3.3km of new pipe as part of the project.
Traffic management will be in place while this work is being delivered and diversions will be signposted. Our teams on site will work to minimise any disruption but we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused while this essential project is completed.
Our onsite team will speak to anyone impacted by any restrictions to access. Please take care and follow any signs put in place.
Access for emergency vehicles will be always maintained.
